I just use matx hp cases cause I don't really need a full atx case and mobo and it makes parts cheaper :)

That's true. I try to reuse whatever parts I can then upgrade them later.

that's what I always do :). bought another computer to resell hp pavilion 500-a60 and took the ram out of it so I upgraded my ram from PC3-10600 to PC3-12800

finally got the cpu ive wanted to get for a while AMD FX-8350 8 core 4GHz was just waiting to get it cheap got it for $65 with 2 bent pins I straightened them out and its good to go :)

Good on you! I don't think I'd be able to deal with the bent pins - not good enough for the fancy stuff. :)
