we_universal for portal

PostAuthor: Mike » Tue Nov 10, 2015 9:07 pm

Here are the style files for we_universal style for phpBB 3.1
I don't have a link to the original style... not sure if it has been validated so this is for michael8t6...

The copy of we-universal I was sent has two css errors... Edits are required to original common.css file (root/styles/we_universal/theme/common.css)...

Edit #1: You need to edit .inventea-footer and change color (#FFFFFF) to the correct link color or comment it out, otherwise you won't see the links (white on white)...
Code: Select all
.inventea-footer a {
/*   color: #FFFFFF;*/
}

Edit #2: Change highlight to a nicer colour...
Code: Select all
.inventea-credits {
    /*color: #FFFFFF;*/
   color: #959595;
   float: left;
}

Download, unzip and copy the resulting we_universal folder to: ext/phpbbireland/portal/styles/
we_universal.zip

Cheers for that Mike, it's sorted the imaging issue.

However, I'm still receiving the No route found for "GET /ucp." error.

Upon a fresh install everything works fine, I add the block user_info to the left menu with a NDX of 0, add the search block to NDX 1 and the site_navigator to NDX 2. I then change the name of the portal link and forum link within the navigator block to forum news for the portal link and home for the forum. As soon as I attempt to login, logout or register I'm faced with the above error.

I'm testing all of this on a test forum but am able to replicate the issue on my live forum if you wanted to take a closer look at things?

I changed the common.css to what you recomended, I am using a different background to the styles default one though so white on white isn't an issue.

link to style page: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/we_universal/

cheers for the help so far and sorry for any headaches I'm causing ;)

I'm currently updating my system to Windows 10 so I can't access my test sites right now but change the NDX so that it starts with 1 not 0... and let me know it that has any affect...

I've spent the last couple of weeks setting up we_universal for portal (18m old babies dont mix with computers) and I probably should have looked here first :doh:

Thanks for the conversion Mike, should speed me up no end!
